It was opened in 2018 and currently located in Al-Sha’ab district in Kuwait City.This center guarantees its visitors entertainment for It includes several museums and facilities, like: the Natural History Museum, the Science and Technology Museum, the Fine Arts Center and many more.It also has an outdoor courtyard with wonderful views where they host festivals and community events also can’t forget the variety of cafes and restaurants in it. Furthermore, there are theaters and special exhibition spaces where a series of quality programmes are held to deal with many topics and ideas related to science and arts.I count this place as one of my favorite places because it helps me learn new and sometimes surprising informations while also admiring some amazing arts.

The museum was named in recognition of the astronomical scientist Dr. Saleh Al-Ojairi and allows visitors to view the collections of the astronomical world in the museum. First, a department concerned with astrophotography, planets, and meteorites. Second, the Solar System section contains some of the most important star projectors. Third, the presentation of the most famous Muslim scholars. Visitors can watch the most prominent cultural stories and documentaries in Arabic and English for example: - The story of the first spaceman to land on the moon. The visitor can learn about the biography of the owner of the museum, some astronomical tools, and the beginning of the history of astronomy. Finally, I feel proud to see and visit such places that help people spend their free time.

The gallery location is in Kuwait City and there is an address in their instegram account. Their system for visiting the gallery is that you should book an appointment the day before you visit by phone call. Its has boosted the art support in Kuwait and also The Middle East Countries. There are many things the gallery shows such as Kuwaiti and Foreign artist arts, wonderful furniture, colorful potteries, and strange frames. Not only it shows art its self, but also it gives the artist a motivation to continue his Hobbie with all pride without any disturbs. Moreover, the tourists  have added this gallery as one of the best galleries to visit in Kuwait. In addition, the schools can make trips for the students as an educational and entertainment place to visit. Finally, I recommend every artist to take a tour at the Dar Al Funoon galley and I hope you have gotten motivated.

]]> 2021-12-11 17:32:09 UTC https://padlet.com/612484/gawkldk84uw6f251/wish/1941936081 The Museum of Modern Art 612484 https://padlet.com/612484/gawkldk84uw6f251/wish/1941939147  The museum of modern art was an elementary school for girls .  I have chosen this place because it has transformed since the beginning of the last decade from school to a museum of modern art.  What made this place special is the old school design which portrays a special period in the history of ancient architecture in Kuwait.  People can go there to visit the lobby of the museum or what was known in the past as the school "housh" or courtyard.  Also , there is a part of the wall that has remained without restoration so that visitors can touch it and get acquainted with the features of the original construction of this place .  You can also visit a room which contains old  photographs of the school and group of its students , professors , and graduates .  This place can make you feel like you are living in the past, and I hope all of you visit this museum one day.
