    The issues the author brings up is:
    if either Kimba, on the Eyre Peninsula and at Barndioota, south of Lake Torrens, near Hawker is chosen it will become a permanent place for nuclear waste that is low-level, and will hold in the meantime intermediate-level waste. The government is planning to bring "stuff" that's temporarily stored somewhere else to a brand new site. Bruce McCleary stated that 'nuclear waste facilities could be tourist destinations', meaning that they are associating nuclear waste and tourism together. The Barndioota site, and the entire Flinders Ranges is being considered as 'seismically active'. Hence, why the locals are angry because it's unsafe ad according to Chris Vonderborch 'it was the worst place to put a nuclear waste facility'.

    - the critics that are responsible for potential risks exaggerate the outcome. finding a strong and permanent method to dispose small quantities is so low it does't really cause a problem.
    - 5,000+ fuel elements have already been sipped over in the past 20 years is special containers without causing any release of harmful radiation.
