1. No, I don't think it's a necessary evil. Civilization got along fine without advertising for hundreds of years. There is nothing necessary about it, and it makes us think about products more than people.

Do you think advertising is a "Necessary evil"?

Advertising is not always true; maybe the companies exaggerate their advantage. Advertising fills our lives, and sometimes we don't want to see it too often, but we need it. We can know the more attractive parts the things have from advertising. We can decide to buy or not from advertising. We can not guess whether the products are good or bad just by looking at them. Advertising is convenient for us to find more interesting things and more details about different products. Thus, I think advertising is a "necessary evil".

I would be willing to pay more for things and have no ads because I do not want ads to annoy me. For example, I am going to buy a car that needs $10000, and the company wants to put its logo on the car, and I can get $3000 back. However, I do not want to do that. I just want to pay $10000 for the car and have no ads on my car. In addition, if I agree with them to put the logo on my car, maybe others will think that I am the employee of the car company. They may bother me.

Some people say that advertising is a “necessary evil” .What does mean?Do you agree ? Why or why not ?

The necessary evil means even though you don't want to see them, they are always there and you can get some information from them. I mostly agree with this because sometimes ads can tell me some new information. Also, I think ads are a necessary evil that lures us into shopping, and we can not stop. If we buy something, it is a little bit evil, but if you can not stop I think is really evil.

Details
1. Advertising can support the arts by showing new writing and plays in commercials or print advertisements.
2. Helps support sports: For example, advertisers pay for the fields, the equipment, and players' salaries.
3. Public service announcements inform the public about issues like diseases or medical problems, public health, and safety.
4. Helps make the world more colorful: For example, clothing designers, photographers, models, and artists create interesting and colorful ads.

This is because it convinces people to spend money sometimes on something useless and also could be annoying.
