The Piedmont is an area of foothills that is located between the flat Coastal Plain and the great Appalachian mountain system to the west. he Atlantic Coastal Plain, the Piedmont, South Mountain, the Reading Prong, the Ridge and Valley, the Allegheny Plateaus, and the Lake Erie Lowland.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The religions that were practiced/ allowed in Pennsylvanian were&nbsp;<strong>Anabaptists, Mennonites,&nbsp;</strong>pacifism (by the amish), <strong>Quakers, Lutherans, Moravians.&nbsp;</strong>Some of the other sects that made their home in Pennsylvania were the <strong>Amish</strong>,<strong>Mennonites</strong>, <strong>Catholics</strong>, <strong>Lutherans</strong> and Jews. The most influential religious bodies beside the <strong>Quakers</strong> were the German Reformed and Presbyterians. the church did impact them but not as much since some religions were extreme. </div>]]></description>
