         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Carolyn-Maull McKinstry is born in 1948 in the most segregated town of Birmingham, Alabama. She is known as the "girl-child" in her family and that she must be protected by her older brothers and she must watch her younger brother and sister wherever she goes, including church, 16th Street Baptist.  She has a well-educated father, who works two shifts to make money for his family, has a laid-back mom, and has two loving grandparents.</div>]]></description>
