An environmental change will have a larger outcome of behavior change in people, so to create an innovative wellness program, have the environment involved in one way or another.

It's known that we have to not just educate people/clients but also influence them to make a change. We need to have an impact on others and to have social contingency take effect for a community to change.

How does having a sense of purpose in life help to sustain motivation after cardiac rehabilitation? For this question, it is important to include and remember the 6 sources of influence. This will help change become more likely or almost inevitable. With personal ability or motivation, ask if patients can obtain sustained motivation after rehab and what did they enjoy in rehab and about rehab to sustain the motivation of continuing rehab.
One thing is using scare tatics won't work on mmost patients to try and use for an incentive to sustain the motivation of continuing rehab. Another approach is using/focus on the strengths or improvements of the patient to help sustain motivation of rehab. Another thought is finding the patients values and uncover the hidden factors of their beliefs of rehab to help direct focus on positives to help increase the motivation to sustained rehab.

(Week 7) As you listened to the Genius Hour Presentations about the driving questions, consider your groups' focus and how on track you feel you are in moving forward to develop your project/product. As a way to revisit where you started in your mind-map, ask and answer these two questions about your project:Why do I/we want to be an Influencer?” and “Who do I/we want to influence?Next review reflections from three other students who are on any other team, and these don't have to be all on the same team. What can you tell them to help this person strengthen their focus on how to influence others?

I want to be an influencer because I want to have people understand and know how to make their lives happy and successful. I also want to help people live up to their fullest potential! I want to be able to influence anyone I can!
Many people have a focus and others just want to be able to influence others in any way possible to make a clients life better. If you want to help a client any way you can, you need to have the basic knowledge for everything. You would also have to develop a relationship with a person to be able to get their story and influence any way possible. If you have more of a focus on what you want to represent as an influence then have a good knowledge base on how to make yourself stand out and be the best influencer you can be!

(Week 11) How does your Genius Hour project use or build social capital? Use specific ideas from the Influencer book to support your reflection. Having a team to work with is providing us with a better well-thought-out project than if we were to do this project on our own. To develop a growth mindset, you need to be open to change and have opportunistic thoughts; you don't accept failure as an answer and your willing to "grow".
