         <description><![CDATA[<div>-M'Kenna's small intestine doesn't look healthy. It is smoother and drier than a healthy one. In a healthy person, most substances decrease as they travel through the small intestine. In M'Kenna, they don't. Maybe M'Kenna's small intestine are not absorbng the nutrients she needs. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-I learned that M'Kenna's small intestine is supposed to absorb certain nutrients and after they are digested they should show a change but her nutrients aren't changing like they're supposed to. Stat+I got darker and W+I also got darker. Gluc+B changed from blue to orange. This means that her nutrients are supposed to change after they go through her bodily process but they aren't. <br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Celiac Disease is an immune reaction to gluten. <br>-The classic symptoms include diarrhea, bloating, gas, fatigue, low blood count, and osteoporosis. <br>-Over time the immune systems reaction to eating gluten cause inflammation that damages the small intestine lining and it causes malabsorbtion.  <br>-The mainstay of treatment is to have a strict non-gluten diet. <br>(Us working hard!!!!)</div>]]></description>
