I remember being in Mr. Scarborough's 6th grade science class when I noticed the teachers chatting ALOT. My teacher told us that something terrible had happened, but we didn't know all the details. Yet. Our teacher rolled in a TV and put the news on. I remember seeing airplanes crash into the towers over and over again. I remember feeling sad even being so far away. I remember for many days after September 11th my world being very patriotic. It seemed like many people were gathering together to help one another.
