Connecting an individual issue and making it a public issue. As well as how can individual issues benefit society as a whole. This helps us ask/make questions as a Sociologist. 

2 & 3 - How can a personal problem, like obesity, turn into a larger social issue?
Explain how one of the societal structures may be an underlying cause of obesity. 

When you are living in a place with a food desert, you are most likely are not the only one struggling with obesity. This one small issue for one person also affects the greater scale of people in that area as well.
