Students who study to become medical doctors have expressed their problems and complaints with the system in place of their education as they became victims of inequality and abuse due to the need of not appearing autistic. They were excused to take "time outs", all the while no changes were being done to help them and their situation. However, the reports and results done by researches proved that even autistic people have great potential and skills that can provide great results (Shaw et al., 2023).

According to Shaw et al. (2023), people with autism often succumb to various psychological hurdles such as anxiety and torment because of the lack of support from their medical schools. Most of the participants felt victimized due to the fact that these healthcare learning establishments expect the participants to be "normal" and not become who they are. They were told to suspend their time and not receive any learning support. Despite all of these, researchers concluded that persons with autism may also prove to be effective professionals.

The unjust system has made it hard for them to catch up to their classes especially due to experiences like isolation, bullying, and anxiety. It made them feel as if they were victims of the system.

Participants hoped their medical institutions would show compassion and support. They discussed times when they felt bullied, alone, and anxious. Many felt forced to hide their autism due to an unsupportive system. Instead of receiving personalized help in school, they were often told to take a break when facing autism-related challenges. However, all emphasized the benefits of their autism. This suggests that autistic people can become highly successful medical professionals (Shaw et al., 2023).

According to Shaw et al. (2023), participants sought understanding and support from their medical institutions. They shared experiences of isolation, harassment, and anxiety. The majority viewed themselves as being at the mercy of a system that demanded they conform to a non-autistic standard. When participants voiced challenges in functioning due to their autism, most were simply advised to "take a break." There were no tailored adjustments made to accommodate their learning needs. All the noted strengths were linked to their autism, reinforcing the assertion that individuals with autism can indeed be competent, capable, and skilled physicians.

The individuals involved expressed a desire for their healthcare facilities to comprehend and support them. They recounted instances of isolation, harassment, and anxiety. A number of them viewed themselves as victims of a system that expected them to fit into a non-autistic mold. When they faced difficulties related to their autism, they were frequently advised to take a break. Their educational environments lacked any accommodations specific to their needs. However, they unanimously recognized the strengths associated with autism, highlighting the potential for individuals on the spectrum to thrive as confident, capable, and skilled medical professionals (Shaw et al., 2023).
