I felt happy and motivated during this week because I could see how the teacher made the students feel comfortable and interested in learning English. I was also a bit nervous at first because I did not know much about the public institution, but with time I felt more confident. Doing my own activity and helping the teacher with real work made me feel useful and more prepared as a future teacher.

Even if there were not many formal English lessons, I learned a lot from the other activities. The number game was very helpful to connect with the students and help them enjoy learning. The theater activity helped students to talk in public, work together and learn important life values. As Vygotsky (1978) says, "social interaction helps students to learn better." Also, Ausubel (1968) explains that "when students relate what they learn with their real life, the learning becomes more meaningful." The English teacher showed me how important it is to create a good and respectful relationship with students, which is also supported by Hattie (2009), who says that "this kind of relationship can improve students’ learning."

This week showed me that teaching is not only about giving lessons. It is also about teamwork, organizing tasks, managing emotions and creating learning experiences that help students grow. I realized that one activity, even if it is short, can be very powerful when we do it with clear objectives and energy. I also understood that teaching needs a balance between discipline, creativity and empathy.

I did not have many opportunities to stay in a lot of classes, mainly for the above reasons, but the experiences I had, were very important for my formation. I felt appreciated by the teachers, and I learned that the role of a teacher is much more complex and beautiful than it seems from outside. I enjoyed every part of this experience.

In the future, I want to continue creating interesting and fun activities for my students, where they can learn English and also feel motivated, respected and included. This week helped me to see the importance of planning, participating and supporting to the students and the school environment. I will use this experience to improve my practice and become a better teacher step by step.
