It's not okay to lie because the consequences in return are worst. Lying causes you to start getting that has a habit sometimes.

I think it’s okay to lie depending on the situation you’re in. If it’s a dangerous situation then yes it is. That doesn’t mean that it is okay to lie all the time especially when it is unnecessary to.

I believe it is not ok to lie because eventually one becomes so used to lying it makes them eventually lose their credibility. Lying should not be done even when thought necessary, the truth will overcome all.

I do not believe lying is okay. The Bible clearly states that you should not bear false witness against your neighbor. The only, ans I mean ONLY reason I would even agree with lying would be if it was a noble lie, like how people holding Jews in their home would lie about the Jews being there.
