Aeon is an ad-free internet magazine where scholars of all types publish short essays in a lay-reader-ish format. I'm sure they would describe themselves otherwise, but most of the pieces are around: philosophy (probably 2/3 of all essays), neuroscience, and cosmology. Occasionally there's some anthropology and arts/culture sprinkled in, and other topics. They have a daily newsfeed where you get two featured essays and a video. Most of the videos are short and sourced from other places; today's video is about "Alien Hand Syndrome", which is applicable to my Physiology courses. Anyway, I use their essays on neuroscience frequently, and post some of their videos to Canvas.

STAT News is a relatively new resource that focuses on healthcare and the biomedical research enterprise. They also have numerous daily newsletters. I find "Morning Rounds" most useful for my purposes: usually includes some brief policy pieces, some relevant data, interviews, videos, and often a layperson summary of a recent and big biomedical research discovery.

The Human Brain Project has awesome 3D models of brains atlases (The Big Brain Project and JuBrain) that are available online or for download from their site. P.S. the brain below is the rodent brain, but there are human brain atlases, too (ironic, given their name, right?!)!
