We've planned with our coaches and coordinators and are ready to go. Our equity focus this year is "How are black students engaging in high yield collaborative learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving?" Today we meet with the student participating and they so brave and honest in sharing their experiences and learning how to take notes for rounds. We are also looking forward to starting a student focus group where students who feel comfortable talking about race, gender, equity and inclusion work towards students feel that they belong and have access to safe and equitable learning environments.
