Luego de la Primera Guerra Mundial, el expresionismo ampliaría sus horizontes al cine y el teatro. Esto duraría hasta la Segunda Guerra Mundialsería y sería catalogado por los Nazis como “arte degenerado”.

  • Cubismo Analítico.- Se lo conoce también como cubismo puro y es el más complejo de comprender. Se basa en la descomposición de formas y figuras geométricas para analizarlas y re ordenarlas de una forma diferente y descompuesta.
  • Cubismo Sintético.-  Se basó en la re-composición de los objetos. Ya no en el análisis detallado de sus formas, sino en captar la esencia de su fisonomía. Resaltaban a través de colores y formas predominantes las partes más significativas de la figura. En esta etapa surgió la técnica del collage y el uso de elementos de la vida cotidiana.
