I think he would be able to kill animals that we could eventually eat and stay healthy and alive with. I also chose this because dogs have a really good sense of smell with a lot of things. This would make him be able to smell the bad people and warn us about it before getting hurt. I also thing on land he would be able to sniff out bad plants that would hurt us and maybe plants that could help us like drug plants or medicine plants.

I think the people would have acted greatly to the plant. One because it would feed a bunch of people and didn’t take that long to grow, and also because there weren’t a lot of other food sources around and so they were happy that they found this food they could make a lot of things out of. They wore a lot of fur on their bodies and the women beads on their necks and wrists. The Corps of Discovery found out that the Chinook’s had a different language and culture than any other tribe, which is what made Lewis and Clark and them click. Clark, Lewis, and the Chinook’s first expedition was peaceful and successful.  Later on, the Chinooks struggled with Clark’s thought of “The protection of our stores from the thief” This evolved in the Chinooks instigating fights with the Indians. The Corps decided to spend the the winter in upper Columbia. Later on, a couple weeks later some of the Chinook’s further up North, stole a saddle and robe from the Corps. The Chinooks only helped Lewis and Clark because they gave and hinted to them more places to stay safe but once they stole from the Corps Lewis and Clark knew that they could no longer trust The Chinooks.
