         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that Racial Equity in the Classroom and Beyond has changed my life. &nbsp;After 20 years of teaching, I realized that in many areas my eyes have been wide shut. &nbsp;I have been used to waiting for change and feeling that my skin gave me the option to go along and then get along. &nbsp;I have learned to make my own way and create spaces that are courageous and necessary. &nbsp;I am happy to no longer hide and feel a lion inside of me and see a lion outside for social justice and racial equity. &nbsp;Thank you to Estefania and Trisha for their work. &nbsp;What an excellent job to prepare an impactful and one-of-a-kind series that touched my mind, heart and all my senses. &nbsp;I love you for being great for us, for you and our global community. &nbsp;Thank you participants for all that you have shared and learned as we fight this fight together. &nbsp;Bless you all and keep patience, love, kindness and hearts of lions in the forefront of al you do.</div>]]></description>
