That member was Grant Perkins. Found dead in the forest . Nobody knew what happened that night not even the boys that where with grant the time of his death. Very many people are interested and concerned about this entire case because nobody knew what happened . most people want this case to get blown over so none of these boys get in trouble not because they’re innocent , but because they are very wealthy and help the town in many ways with their donations and don't want one of the rich boys parents to get angry and stop donating because their kid is guilty for killing Mr.Perkins . Mr. Stone is now taking over the case nobody really has faith in him because  he is very old he use to be an excellent detective but since he has grown in age he has began to loose sight and his talent in solvang cases. Mr.Gaines was the one who gave Mr.stone the case because not only is he very close with the river point boys families , but he wants the case to drop ,disappear. He believes with as little knowledge that stone has this will be exactly what happens and everyone will forget about the death of Grant Perkins.
