The main character in the novel is August Pullan “Auggie”. He is a ten years old boy and has a genetic condition. He had the 27-operation done for his face, but his face never looked normal. He had been homeschooled with his mom. Auggie’s mom had been convinced him to go to school. The situation in the school was not easy for him.

The great strength is its very realistic performance in our society. When you are different from others or the majority recognize you as a minority, you will get bullying and discrimination. The influences are building awareness that bullying is not acceptable. This book is heart touching and can bring your tears.

I would recommend Wonder to readers of all ages, especially if you are lovers of equality and change-maker for a better society.
