         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Most happy to meet ex-colleagues mine and those of my colleagues and ex-student :-)<br>2. Appreciate the sharing by electronics and computing teams arranged by Fang Fang. These provided good overall knowledge of the curriculum plans, resources and instructional practices that are happening in the schools at all levels supporting the STEM directions of MOE.&nbsp;<br>3. There are many opportunities for collaboration and the development of specific ideas for&nbsp;<br>(a) early introduction of technology (microcontrollers MCUs) in lower secondary, to support upper level curriculum and/or research projects<br>(b) infusion of MCU-based and non-MCU (just breadboard circuits/components) lesson plans in Physics curriculum<br>(c) enhancing digital literacy of how STEM plays a critical part in our daily life (smart technology, devices, robotics) </div>]]></description>

The CPDD colleagues discussed many interesting ideas to support development in schools and staff training. Dr Darren Wong also suggested submitting the idea for Innergy Award in future.&nbsp;<br><br>There are 5 themes for STEM ALP in schools. Timothy suggested that I join STEMP ALP OPAL for additional STEM resources shared by schools. He is interested in the issues on promoting women representation in STEM.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

Will simplify and miniaturize the setup for easy student use, as well as development a basic handout.&nbsp;Also shared about my experience in using Arduino microcontrollers with my SIA students to do group projects. </div>]]></description>
