It was Tarbells extreme dedication and motivation to adressing the topic of injustices of the oil company that would prove her one of the most hard working muckrakers of all time. Ida spent countless years researching and interviewing to get to the bottom of a very serious topic. Ida published 19 different articals adressing the injustices in the oil companys. Her hard work helped spread much awareness to the topic and without her change may have not came. She also helped spark campiegns and other events to raise awareness.
