I will be writing a story about a Green Turtle hatchling born on the coast of Karachi. That hatchling will see its siblings being trapped by vendors, while the others make their way to the ocean and the ones left are conserved by WWF. That hatchling would then describe the life of all its siblings in different settings, leaving the message about human impact (good & bad) on green turtles

Right now I am a bit uncertain whether the story should be set in China or the Indian subcontinent, but my thinking is to place it in the Himalayan range because that is the region that connects India, China, and Pakistan. I am planning to draw from China’s ancient folklore of the nightingale, and also from the tragic mass killings of birds during Mao’s era. The style of the story will either take the form of Urdu poetry or a dialogue between the Bulbul and the rose plant.

I was thinking of writing a satirical or a humorous story where ants complain about being treated as "pests". when in fact they are the reasons why we have enriched soils and protected crops.

A conservation tale which would be a bit dramatic where an ibex would be narrating its life in the mountains, mentioning the threats they face.

I am trying to creating a story that compares two vultures of Pakistan one from the Thar Desert(white rumped vultures) and the other from mountainous regions of Himalayas (Himalayan Griffon) (both are critically endangered). Through their voices, I will try to show both their strength in keeping the land clean and stopping deadly diseases like rabies, and their suffering under human threats, climate change, and poisoned food.
