Based on my reading of the graphic novel, “The story of Kram and Ailat”, what I found the most interesting, surprising or confusing is that when Ailat asked her dad if she can take the fish home to show her mother and Kram said, “ sorry, my little sardine There aren’t Enough of them left! We’ll let this one go back to his family.” I found this very interesting because most of the time when fathers take their kid fishing the father says that they can or they should keep the fish. But this time the father said no because there aren’t much fish left in the sea.

The author introduced the story by explaining that the little girl couldn’t keep the fish to show her mother. Instead her father said that there weren’t enough left so they should let it go back into the ocean.

Based on my reading of the graphic novel, “The story Of Kram and Ailat: Part 1” I found it interesting that, when the dad found a fish and knew that there wasn’t many left of that species that he put it back in the ocean instead of just taking it which is great because we wouldn’t want that species to be extinct. In the text it states, “Sorry, my little sardine. There aren’t enough of them left! Well let this one go back to his family.”

Something that I found surprising is that the father actually told his daughter that there aren’t enough fish in the seafor her to take the fish that she caught home. I found this surprising because I didn’t think that many people actually knew about fish depletion. I mean I knew nothing about fish depletion before I read this article but I guess some people must. On panel 7 the text states “Sorry my little sardine. There aren’t enough of them left! We’ll let this one go back to his family.” This shows that the father knew about fish depletion and that maybe the author is trying to show fish depletion in the comic, but he’s also trying to say that more people know about fish depletion know. As you can see this is what I found surprising in the text.

I found this surprising because if you were in a ocean and a whale came out and then so did lots of fish you wouldn’t be worried at at all? This is what I found surprising.

They found a whale and waited for it to make the fish swim to the surface. I found it surprising how they didn’t eat the fish for dinner and theyblet it go. I am happy that they did that.
