As the semester began, the challenges and problems started rolling in, reaching from personal issues to problems during the courses. I had to focus a lot on staying on track and remaining focused on what I had set as goals in the beginning.

The biggest challenge for myself weren't necessarily the courses, but much more learning to live alone, without my parents and becoming fully autonomous. I ran into a couple of problems, but in the end I was able to tackle all of them with the help of the friends I made and my family.

While this semester comes to an end, I learned to appreciate the things much more I had with my family, I have grown not only personally but also helped others out in their problematic moments. Lastly, I also made not of what I have to change in my own life and on what I have to focus to achieve what I want.

I think the greatest challenge was believing in myself, especially in difficult times (speaking of physics and calculus). It was difficult to keep up with the multiple activities and situations I was dealing with at the moment (school, friends, homework, ballet, difficult subjects). Yet…

… these situations allowed me to realize I could do a lot if I set my mind to it. It is amazing to believe how far I’ve come. And even though this semester has come to an end, I also learned there are several things I can improve and fight for.

They were so many challenges but the biggest one was to live alone, have to cook myself, do the laundry and some many things more, and also the organizations for things about the university ando the apartment.

Dealing with the big change that is high school to college is a complicated thing, having doubts about the career decision and doubts about yourself can be overwhelming, I was and I am still afraid of not being able to deal with a subject or the career at all.

Having classmates experimenting the same challenges you have can be helpful, and makes you not feel alone in the journey, also having the help of them by all of you contributing in teamworks makes the difference. Some teachers help a lot by seeing your effort and giving you chances also by supporting your learning with lots of patience.

I met a person at the Hi Tec but we just had a very little conversation, but then she was in my class and we started to talk more and now she is one of my best friends.

I failed a Semana Tec subject and that was very disappointing for me and made me feel weak. So in the final parcial when everyone was stressed I was afraid that it would happen to me again.

I tried to left my fears behind and started focusing on what I could do to pass the semester the way I wanted to, I put a lot of effort on my studying and on my evidences and everything came up right.
