I will be doing my work experience with Mark Dolan of ITN Productions w/c 23rd April 2018. I am hoping that this will open up a new window of opportunity not just to learn how things are run in the industry but for a potential work contact or even a future job. On Tuesday December 5th I have been invited to visit the ITN Studios for the day to see the offices and studio setup. This will be really interesting as I will be able to see how they film the news and the cameras and equipment they use for it.

This course interests me because one of our media projects was to make an animated Ebook for children aged 8-12. I took this opportunity to come up with my own characters, story-line and script to make the best story possible.

I think I am suitable for the course because I have had a lot of experience in the past with animation and this course seems like the best step forward in the right direction for me.

As I have previously stated, I am currently doing a media level 3 course where we use a wide range of technology and equipment ranging from Macs to DSLR cameras, giving us the opportunity to find our strengths and weaknesses. Personally I have found my own strength in animation and look forward to continuing this talent in the near future.
