He changes because at the beginning of they story he was very innocent and caring, but by the end of the story he was greedy because he wouldn't let anyone have the pearl or use the money. He also killed someone because they tried to take the pearl. "In the town they tell the story of the great pearl- how it was found and how it was lost again. They tell of Kino, the fisherman." This shows how important Kino was. 

Some characteristics of Juana would be caring and responsible. She became more understanding throughout the story. At first she told Kino everything he did wrong but at the end she let Kino throw in the pearl. RISING ACTION: 
Coyotito gets stung by a scorpion and Kino and Juana need to find a pearl to pay to doctor to heal him
Juana and Kino find the perfect pearl and the village finds out about it
CLIMAX:
People started attacking Kino and his family and they had to leave after Kino killed someone.
FALLING ACTION :
They were running away from the trackers. Coyotito was shot.
RESOLUTION:
Kino and Juana came home to the village and got rid of the evil pearl.
