         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;King Louis XVI took center stage as the king of France. Matters only got worse under his rule. During that time, the king and queen both spent money on useless things that they wanted. Because of this, many lower class people had to go through hard labor to pay off debts. Also, the fact that monarchs had full control of everyone really made the people of France upset. Another cause of debt were the wars King Louis XVI participated in. During this time, peasants had to go through famine due to harvest failures. Robespierre was a leader who always tried to get&nbsp; what he wants. He thought he was a good leader but still ended up leading the French Revolution into failure and terror</div>]]></description>
