         <description><![CDATA[<p>During the process of this lab, I think my team and I did a really good job on following directions so the pancakes and the syrup turned out great. Overall, I think this lab was a success.</p><p>Recipe for Pancake: </p><p>11/4 cups sifted flour</p><p>3 tsp. baking powder(1 tbsp)</p><p>1 tbsp sugar</p><p>1/2 tsp. salt</p><p>1 egg, beaten</p><p>1 cup of milk</p><p>2 tbsp of veggie oil</p><p>Maple syrup recipe:</p><p>1/4 cup brown sugar</p><p>1/4 cup of water</p><p>1 tsp of maple flavoring</p><p>*Stir until sugar dissolves*</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The chocolate chip muffins turned out delicious. The muffins had no tunnels inside of them and we used the perfect amount of sugar for the muffin.</p><p>Recipe:</p><p>1 cup flour</p><p>1/4 cup sugar</p><p>1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder</p><p>1/4 tsp. salt</p><p>1/4 Cup chocolate chips</p><p>1/2 egg</p><p>1/4 cup plus 2 T. of milk</p><p>2 T. plus 1/2 tsp. veggie oil</p><p>Topping recipe:</p><p>1 1/2 sugar + 1 T brown sugar</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The scones was one of my favorite labs. Although the process was long and took two days, they all turned out tasty and savory. I loved the cranberries because it added flavor to the scones.</p><p>Recipe:</p><p>1/4 cup currants, soaked in boiling water for 15 mins</p><p>2 cups sifted flour</p><p>1/8 cup sugar</p><p>1 Tbsp baking powder</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>4 tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut into bits</p><p>3/4 cup + 2 tbsp half and half</p>]]></description>

         <title>Pretzel</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Pretzel's weren't my favorite because I didn't like pretzels myself. I thought kneading it was pretty difficult at first but I got the hang of it. Overall, the pretzel's turned out quite golden brown and there was a right amount of salt. </p><p>Recipe: </p><p>1 1/3 cups of warm water</p><p>1 package of yeast or 2 1/4 tsp</p><p>3 1/2 to 4 1/2 cups flour</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>1 tbsp sugar</p><p>1 egg</p><p>2-3 tbsp rock salt</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Pizza was also one of my favorite labs. The process of making the pizza and kneading the dough got easier and it turned out delicious. Our topping choice made the pizza a lot better as well. </p><p>Recipe for Pizza: </p><p>1 tsp dried yeast or 1/2 pckg</p><p>1/2 cup + 2 tbsp lukewarm water (95-105)</p><p>1 tsp sugar</p><p>1 tsp. olive oil</p><p>1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>plus additional oil(about 2 tsp. for bowl or bag)</p><p>Recipe for Tomato sauce:</p><p>1 tbsp. olive oil</p><p>1/4 onion, chopped</p><p>1 clove garlic, minced</p><p>3-5 leaves fresh basil, chopped</p><p>1 8 oz. can crushed (pureed) tomatoes</p>]]></description>

I thought the sausage we made had too much seasoning in it. </p><p>Recipe for Biscuits:</p><p>2 cups of AP flour</p><p>1 tbsp Sugar</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>1 tbsp PLUS 1 tsp baking powder</p><p>1/2 cup solid veggie shortening</p><p>1 egg lightly-beaten</p><p>1/2 Cup milk</p><p>Recipe for Turkey Sausage:</p><p>1/2 lb. lean ground turkey</p><p>1 tsp Italian season(Salt to taste)</p><p>1/8 tsp red pepper flakes or ground black pepper</p><p>1 tbsp milk</p><p>Recipe for Applesauce:</p><p>4 apples: Granny smith, Gala, Braeburn, Jonathan, Pink lady</p><p>2 tbsp water</p><p>2 tbsp sugar</p><p>1 tbsp brown sugar</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This was one of our very recent labs and I really enjoyed making it. The crust and the filling turned out great. The filling was very sweet and the crust was savory. I thought that our crust was very crispy which made the pie better.</p><p>Recipe for the pie:</p><p>1 1/2 cups sifted flour</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>1/2 cup shortening (should be cold and cut into pieces)</p><p>4-6 tbsp ice cold water</p><p>Recipe for filling:</p><p>2 eggs, slightly beaten</p><p>2 cups canned pumpkin</p><p>3/4 cup sugar</p><p>1/2 tsp salt</p><p>1 tsp cinnamon</p><p>1/2 tsp ginger</p><p>1/4 tsp ground cloves</p><p>1 1/2 cups evaporated milk</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The dishes that I ordered at Claim jumper were Chicken quesadillas and Chicken Pot pie. The dishes were both very delicious and filling. Overall, the service was amazing because the waitress made sure that our orders came out on time and they weren't lagging. The experience was very nice and I would recommend this restaurant for any family.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The dish that I ordered at Buffalo Wild Wings was the lemon pepper chicken wings. The service was terrible because our food that came out was cold and it would take awhile to get a hold of your server. Overall, the experience wasn't great because the service was terrible which made the food cold.</p>]]></description>

         <title>#1 Food article about Chipotle</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Recently, there was a recall on Chipotle's meat because 37 people have gotten E. Coli from the meat. There were 12 victims in Oregon and 25 in Washington.          <title>#2 Food article about Salmonella in 38 States</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There was an outbreak in 38 states on Salmonella in cucumbers. About 838 people have been infected with salmonella after buying cucumbers that came from Mexico. Overall, 165 people  have been hospitalized and 4 deaths have been reported from Arizona.
