We were 9-10 members in a group and my group was ANDRADE. My mentees call me "Mama Goose" and I call them my goslings...numbered in Spanish like Uno, Dos, Tres, Quatro, .... Nueve which other groups love to call us also.  The composition of my mentees was so unique because we, mentors, had a hard time grouping them by "3s" as roommates so we just told them to give it a try first. Their uniqueness as days go by blended to a wonderful group which turned into a family away from home. We enjoyed our daily routines like living independently after all the orientation we've undergone before the trip. Early days of our stay in Jimei District, my mentees were not used to comply with the "Call time at 6:00 AM" and "Lights out at 10:00 PM". So I have to set rules which made them more responsible individuals. We start our day with morning prayer as a big group, then healthy breakfast as small group in 1 big round table, attend classes, friendly game competition after classes, dinner, and prayer circle before lights out. We had several trips scheduled weekly which really made everyone excited to go different places and explore their culture. We had celebrations in restaurants where we can jam with the lead singer who is a Filipina. 
The part of the activities that my mentees love most was the prayer circle. This is where they can share their memorable experiences during the day. Most of the time we have side activities like kulitan, kainan, and habulan at the football field even how cold it was. 
As days go by which everyone is already enjoying, we did not notice that we are about to go back to Xavier. We felt sad and even promised to come back to China but everything changed because of this worldwide pandemic.
We created a messenger group for our continuous communication to reminisce our priceless memories during the trip.
