         <description><![CDATA[<div>Gia, This sketch shows your ability to use several marks to define the multiple shapes and parts of a hand. Using a photograph of posing hand along with MC Eschers drawing, sketch a new version of this hand.  Make your marks light and short like as tiny as an ant or dashed line.  Keep looking closely at the folds of skin for detail for perhaps where shading could inform the detail rather than line.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson 3<br></strong>The hands in this lesson are created by a collection of expressive lines and color. Using the skills established at this point of careful observation, relax your drawing hand to trust and use the quick gestural marks that collectively create the contour lines of a hand. Notice the cool colors are applied in the flesh under and inbetween. Notice the bright and light colors bring out the motion of gripping and bending.  Create 2 or 3 hands using expressive line and color. </div>]]></description>
