September 19, 2022 was a notable day in Mexico, as it coincided with the anniversaries of two large earthquakes that occurred in (1985 and 2017). Curiously, that same day a significant earthquake of magnitude 7.7 was recorded with its epicenter in Coalcomán, Michoacán, which affected several areas of the country.

It caused damage to buildings, electrical interruptions and unfortunately left fatalities.
