Signing off stories on Oct. 14, Seniors Demi Spalla, Maddie Meyer, and Jenevieve Frese review stores at work night. Spalla said the EICs had to make sure they were written as great as they could be. "From our first cycle, all of our staffers and editors produced and wrote stories for the first [couple months]," Spalla said. "We have to make sure everything is all good to go and signed off."

Laboring away on Oct. 14 ,seniors Jenevieve Frese, Madelaine Meyer and Demi Spalla are editing one of the many stories they're in charge of perfecting. Spalla said their jobs as an Editors in Chiefs are ones that require a lot of time, "As EICS, we have to make sure everything is all good to go and signed off," Spalla said. "We get comfortable during sign off and during work nights. Were spending so much time in [the EIC room] together, looking over stories. We get in some comfortable, maybe a little unusual, positions."

Spalla said that she enjoys editing all kinds of stories, but she is able to see her peers progress through their longer stories. "I do really like reading through traditional larges because it's fun to see how my staffers and editors are growing as writers and what they're producing," Spalla said. "It's really interesting to me, and a good traditional large has a lot more meaning."
