The tiles are 12"x24" (2 square feet) 
This means we need enough tiles to cover 86.5 square feet. 
86.5 divided by 2 is 43.25 meaning we need 44 tiles, or 5 boxes and 4 singles.
The tiles cost $33.51 per box and $4.19 per tile. 
Since the tiles are 2 square feet each, the cost per square foot is $2.10.

There parts of the wall that won't be painted are the door-frame, the window, and the shower walls.
The door-frame is 2,880 square inches.
The window is 288 square inches.
The shower walls are a total of 8,640 square inches.
After all of the calculations, the total surface area that needs to be painted is 34,272 square inches, or 238 square feet.
The paint covers either 525 square feet or 490 square feet, depending on which brand you go with (each bucket is a gallon). 
This means that a single bucket of paint is enough to do 2 coats.
The colour I chose to use is a light grey.
I chose 2 different brands of paint, one is premium and one is low quality. The premium paint costs $36.12 per gallon and the low quality paint costs $30.29 per gallon.
I chose the premium paint because  it comes with primer mixed in and will last much longer.
