On the other hand, a drawback from this is that an opinion could be seen as higher priority over qualifications which can be prejudiced. Whereas, a benefit would be that if you know people who knows other people that could help you get a job; word of mouth would be helpful as it gets your name out there. Lastly, a drawback would be that it lacks research on the employee due to being just a statement of someone's perspectives.

Work Experience- A benefit of work experience would be Work experience equips you with certain soft skills such as team working, communication skills and commercial awareness, all of which are sought after by employers, especially at a graduate level. A drawback is that most work places, you have to be eighteen which restricts tons of people wanting to get experience in the work industry. Nevertheless, a benefit would include how it also equips you with knowledge that will enhance your job applications and particularly your interviews. On the other hand, a drawback would be, if you didn't know what job you want to work in, it may be useless as it doesn't correspond with what you want to do. However, a benefit would be that you may have done such a good job at the placement that some long-term internships leads to full-time employment. Though, a drawback would be that the employers may give you inferior jobs because you are younger than them.
