When life is full of obstacles, I don’t let them stand in my way. I believe that challenges are just part of the journey, and I’m determined to keep going despite them. I always remind myself to seize every chance that comes my way. Giving up is never an option because I know that persistence is the key to achieving what I want. My partner in life has become my constant source of inspiration and my number one supporter. His encouragement pushes me to keep moving forward, and his belief in me helps build my confidence. Whenever I feel uncertain, his support gives me the strength to keep going. My friends also play an important role in my life. They bring joy and laughter, and I know that whenever I need help, they’ll be there for me. Their constant support and words of encouragement remind me not to give up, even when things get tough. Of course, my family is a vital source of strength. They’ve given me so much, and I want to give back to them by working hard and achieving my goals. Their sacrifices motivate me to keep striving for success. Ultimately, the most important part of this journey is myself. I am the one who must face and overcome difficulties. I want to be proud of the person I am becoming. With all the love and support I have, and the guidance of Almighty God, I know I can overcome any obstacle that comes my way.

"My Biggest Fear"

My biggest fear is losing myself, especially by disappointing myself. Failing in school is something that scares me deeply because it feels like a direct reflection of my inability to succeed in life. I have worked so hard to get to this point, and the thought of failure makes me feel as though I’ve wasted my opportunities. Not succeeding academically would mean I can’t achieve the future I’ve dreamed of, and that scares me. Along with this fear, I worry about losing my mental and physical health. The pressure to excel in school, manage life’s responsibilities, and meet expectations feels overwhelming at times. I fear that if I don’t take care of my mental and physical health, I might lose the strength and drive necessary to push through challenges. If I become overwhelmed or unhealthy, I may lose the opportunity to work toward my goals. A significant part of my fear is letting my family down. As the eldest, I carry the weight of responsibility to set an example and make them proud. Even though they don’t openly pressure me, I sense their expectations. I fear that if I fail, it will disappoint them, and they may lose faith in me. I don’t want to be the cause of their disappointment. Their belief in me has always been a great source of motivation, but it also adds pressure. I want to succeed not just for myself but for them, to live up to the trust and hope they’ve placed in me.

"Who am I?"

My name is Jenny Kieth Encarguez, a 19-year-old from Molobolo, Tuburan, Cebu. I am currently a transferee student at Cebu Technological University Tuburan Campus. Although life didn’t allow me to pursue my original dream course, I’ve learned to embrace my current path, and I am excited to continue growing and evolving with it. I have always been fascinated by science and the mysteries it holds. Experimenting with ideas is something that excites me, as it pushes me to think critically and creatively. My ultimate dream is to help people heal and treat illnesses, and I truly believe I will achieve that goal one day, making a meaningful impact on the world. I see myself as an evolving person. While I may appear introverted at first, once I’m comfortable, I can be among the loudest in the room, engaging in lively conversations. I value meaningful conversations and pay close attention to my surroundings. Fairness and balance are important principles for me, and I strive to treat others with respect. Dancing is my passion and serves as my emotional outlet. It allows me to express feelings and experiences that words alone cannot capture. When I feel overwhelmed or restless, dancing helps me feel connected to myself and the world around me, providing a sense of freedom. Though my journey hasn’t gone exactly as planned, I trust that every step has a purpose. I continue to learn and grow, guided by my curiosity, love for learning, and unwavering determination to achieve my dreams.
