Karli kills Lemar at the end of episode 5. John Walker gets angry and kills Karli's friend in front of everyone. It's an example of grief because he acts out and takes his anger out on the wrong person because he is in a state of grief and rage.

Karli is also grieving in the movie. Her grandma or friend Dona Madani dies in the movie. She was frantic to find a cure for her and even called the chemist who made the super serum. It eventually leads to her being caught. She also is very upset and holds a funeral

Bucky is mad at sam for giving up the shield

At therapy when Bucky and Sam are together speaking about why they aggravate each other, Bucky reveals that he is mad at Sam for giving up the shield saying that Steve trusted him and gave that shield for a reason. He gave what he stood for and Sam threw it away. It shows how upset he is for not honoring steves wish and hes clearly upset.

Yori and his grief

Yoris son was killed by bucky in combat. Yori is struggling to cope and enjoys bucky’s company. Little does he know that bucky killed his son.This connects to grief directly because yri is grieving the death of his son. He seems extremely distraught and is also lonely.

Bucky is shown to have nightmares in the first episode of the winter soldier. He dreams of killing civilians and he wakes up in reoccurring night terrors.

Bucky can't accept the fact of moving out of combat. He is experiencing PTSD and it's also a common similarity between what people grieving experience. People grieving often experience trouble sleeping and nightmares. Some could argue that Bucky is grieving combat. He's also sad of all the grief he's caused

Sam and Bucky symptoms of grief

In episode 2 after a new captain America is elected, Sam and Bucky are enraged. They blame each other and in their mission they have issues cooperating because of it. Sam wouldn’t share the plan and Bucky lashed out at Sam for calling him Buck because that’s something only Steve would say

It relates to the symptoms of grief because they're blaming and lashing out at each other. They haven't processed Captain America's death and so mentioning it makes them irritable

They are connected because they both have to do with depression and sadness. Yori doesn't necessarily lash out at others and Karli isn't killing people because of her dying friend, so they both show generally healthy coping.
