         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marijuana is a psychoactive drug from the Cannabis plant used for medical or recreational purposes.<sup><br></sup>Cannabis can be used by smoking, vaporizing, within food, or as an extract.<sup><br></sup>Cannabis has mental and physical effects, such as creating a "high"  feeling. There is general change in perception, heightened mood, and an increase in appetite. The onset of effects is within minutes when smoked, and about 30 to 60 minutes when cooked and eaten.They last for between two and six hours. Short-term side effects may include short-term memory issues, dry mouth, impaired motor skills, red eyes, and feelings of paranoia or anxiety. <br>A 2014 review found that while cannabis use may be less harmful than alcohol use<br>Cannabis has not been reported to cause fatal over in humans.<sup><br></sup><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marijuana use can lead to the development of problem use, known as a marijuana use disorder, which takes the form of addiction in severe cases. Recent data suggest that 30 percent of those who use marijuana may have some degree of marijuana use disorder. <br>Marijuana use disorder becomes addiction when the person cannot stop using the drug even though it interferes with many aspects of his or her life. <br>In 2015, about 4.0 million people in the United States met the diagnostic criteria for a marijuana use disorder. Only 138,000 voluntarily sought treatment for their marijuana use. <br>Marijuana isn’t a highly addictive drug, but it <em>is</em> addictive.
