Kawatra is presently 31 years old, however, he was only 22 when he decided he would make sure that as many people as he could in India would have proper access to food as a basic right of being a human being. After observing massive amounts of food thrown away at a wedding, he used this mental note to begin a company called "Feeding India", which "redistribut(es) leftover food from restaurants, canteens, and households to the people in need" (Goel, 2017).

Kawatra is a great example of the values of Emerging Leaders because of his tangible use of a soft skill - observation - to make a major difference in the lives of children and families. He dared to value humanity over his corporate career and his own profits and because of it, he has reached a level of global impact.

This inspires me to esteem my own observation skills and not be afraid to gather resources to make a change I see in my community - even if it is on a smaller level.

kimiloluwa is 26 years old,in 2021 kimiloluwa had launched gander for a tech enabled solution for integrating user generated videos on e-commerce sites. In the industry it prioritizes seeing people as data, Gander also offers a different experience technology that sees people as people.

I think that Kimilouwa is a great example of Emerging Leader because she took initiative to achieve the goal of gander.She had to came of away to come up of how to make generated videos with an app , for there website so it can help shoppers see a closer up on what there buying.

This had inspired me because of how now I know how to build up what I know in , in use it into what I know to help build something that can be useful to someone else in the long run of doing everything.

Yola Mgogwana is 11 years old. Yola was born and raised in Khayelitsha (one of Cape Town’s impoverished townships), everyday the 11 year old see's the effects that climate change is causing to our world. Yola decided to do something about this problem. She started helping and volunteering with an organization called the Earthchild project. The organizations goal is it works with school children and communities, so they can educate them more about the environment. As a result of working with the organization, Yola has spoken to many, even thousands of young people in Cape Town, to help encourage them to take the next steps for a better future.

Yola is a great example of the standards of Emerging Leaders because she decided to go into action and spread the word of an ongoing problem in our world. She is a leader who wasn't afraid of using her voice. Yola speaking about climate change to many people shows the bravery and the confidence she has in herself. Yola also truly shows you don't have to be a certain age, be wealthy, or live in a certain are to put in effort to change the world around us.

This inspires because it shows me I can do anything I set my mind to and I am capable of more than I think. This has aslo inspired me by allowing me to think about any little thing I can do in order to stop climate change.

India Logan-Riley is from Aotearoa/New Zealand and is 25 years old. She is an activist for the indigenous people because of the dangerous effect that climate change has on them and their lands. She has done things such as spoken at the Un Climate Change conference to be the voice and the person who wants to make a difference. Climate change is not only a factor that can effect one thing. Climate change has a sever effect on things such as indigenous people which it may not seem that it does. Climate change has an effect on the lands of Indigenous people and their lands. Things such as their resources, land, and supplies are all very important things that are majorly affected.

She is also a part of the Te Ara Whatu organization which is a group that demands no less than climate justice that upholds self-determination of Indigenous people and their lands. She says that “it’s really important that the wider climate movement aligns itself with the aspirations of indigenous communities [and] amplifies the solutions that we advocate for.” Meaning that she has a call to action and steps up to be a leader to help out and make an impact. Saying that she is striving to make a change and find solutions to the problem. Also she says this as well "Globally, over two million people depend on land help by Indigenous people for food, water, and air quality. These critical ecosystems are often protected by indigenous groups." Meaning that climate change dose not only affect them but it affects all people as well.

In my eyes India Logan-Riley is a very key and great example of an emerging leader. She has stepped up and has been a voice and representative to help out the indigenous people. She has taken a call to action to better the situation of others and lead them to change their situation. Someone who is not a leader will not do that. She has really made an impact and had a lot of determination to be someone that can be relayed on and someone that can be a leader.

She has been a very great inspiration to me by setting the exceptions and standards to hold me up to be this type of leader. She has opened my eyes to step up to the plate and be the best version of a leader I can be not just for me ,but also for the people that need a leader and someone to rely on to take that step and challenge.
