         <title>Applications to career as LMS</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As an LMS, I definitely plan to integrate PBIS in my instruction. For example:<br>~I plan to be proactive and start each school year off with practices that prevent behavior issues, rather than later on spending more time on punishing and dealing with behavior issues in my classes. <br>~I love the idea of using ClassDojo and plan to use this for my classes. Good behaviors such as staying on task, returning books on-time, and helping peers will gain points. Disrespectful behavior, late books, and running in the library may warrant loss of points. This can also be great for parent connections. Parents can view their child’s points in real time, and I can even generate behavior reports to send to parents weekly.<br>~I plan to reward all students, and plan to ensure that no student feels excluded, but instead all are encouraged and motivated to behave well and contribute to a safe and respectful classroom environment.</div>]]></description>

KidTools and KidSkills are forms of software to help students take control of their learning, behavior, and problem solving to improve their success in school. These software programs include templates for children to personalize and use independently. KidTools are organized into groups according to their strategies for encouraging behavior change. They include tools for earning points for appropriate behaviors, making behavior contracts, developing behavior plans, and self-monitoring (UM, 2011).</div>]]></description>
