This could lead into a quiet moment of Felix in the apartment (Does he enter through a doorway? Or is he already somewhere in the space?) He listens to a voice message from his father left on the answering machine (Talking about the upcoming wedding, opening up some context). He adjusts his outfit quietly.
This leads us into a snap change of energy and volume, opening into our first classroom scene. Likely the scene where he asks his students to think of a story about their holiday break to bring back to the class next semester. The students want to know about his life; what he's doing over the break. We open into a memory conversation between Felix and Ben - Ben asks this question. In the true memory Felix says yes, he thinks they would've been (to keep the peace, be agreeable). We flip out of this memory's reality for Felix to express - no, they wouldn't have. Ben was the type to fight other boys, and Felix was the type to be punched.  
This spreads out into Felix talking about boyhood, what he wanted to be versus the way that Ben interpreted what he was allowed to be. The destruction of boyhood to become 'ideal men', to become businessmen. - Young Felix asks his father "Why do all the trees look dead?"
His father goes on to explain: "They're not dead, it's just winter. It's just too cold"

Ben is at the bar with some university friends. They talk, flirt, Ben offers to buy Felix a drink as he's finishing his shift. They kiss, but Felix has to leave shortly after. 
- 9 months pass till they bump into each other again. The moment wasn't particularly significant for Felix but was MAJOR for Ben as it was his first moment of real flirting and affection with another man after years of keeping his sexuality quiet. 
- The next time they meet is at Felix's teaching job, Ben is picking up his younger brother. Ben is back and forth nervously about approaching Felix again, but does. Felix emerges into the scene - the visual of him centred in a circling collage of shadow puppetry depicting ridiculous (and laughably erotic) macho activities in the workplace. Felix has fun with it, plays into it by exaggerating himself in the opposite direction. 
Ben is distraught that Felix has come his workplace, jeopardizing the secret of the relationship to his work mates. Ben drags Felix away, draws a tiny outline of a box around them to create a janitor's closet. Felix tries to be playful with Ben, playing with scenarios and pretending to step back out into the office / playing with Ben about "what can happen when they're all alone and so close together". Ben is completely unreciprocating, tense, angry. He belittles and shames Felix - the mood is destroyed. Ben leaves and tells him to wait a few minutes before exiting too. Felix is left to mingle awkwardly with the context of the tiny closet. Ben questions why Felix has settled for him and explains he isnt enough ...

Ben opens the door and then lightly slams it when discovering Felix is in that room, Ben freaks out for a second to then reopen the door to engage. 

- Ben picks up his younger brother from the same school Felix teaches at (but felix isnt the younger brothers teacher)
