         <description><![CDATA[<p>This specific tool should be used to keep an open airway to specificity unresponsive patients, by keeping the tongue from obstructing the airway. </p><p>In conjunction to the bag-valve mask ventilation to have a clear airway and have effective breathing. It is ensured not to use OPA when a patient has a gag reflex because they can vomit and stop their own airway. </p>]]></description>

It is inserted through the nose and is a flexible tool to help maintain an open airway. </p><p>A general contraindication in a patients can be when they have a nasal feature, active nose bleed, suspected skull fracture, and significant facial trauma. </p>]]></description>

Examples can be like mucus, saliva, blood, vomit, and especially used for patients incapable of doing so. </p><p>Some important contraindications are severe bleeding disorders, specific respiratory infections, facial skull fractions, recent surgery, and other careful consideration. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This method is used to open the patient’s airway when it is obstructed or they are having difficulty in breathing. The tongue is often blocking the passage and is used during CPR after the 30 compressions are done, a CPR certificated person, would apply this technique during the 2 rescue breaths. </p><p>Contradictions of this method can be for the patients that may have spinal injuries because of the neck extension.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
