1791 Petrus Camper's Facial Angles is published in a medical textbook

Petrus Camper's beliefs were that the caucasian race has a higher intelligence than any race because of the angles of their faces. He was deliberately discriminating other races, Camper says anything under 70 degrees facial angle would be considered as “close to an ape” which is “less beautiful and less intelligent” according to him. The most beautiful face was above 90 degrees, which mainly pertains to the caucasian race, with facial angles with 90 to 100 degree angle. Thus, in his opinion, caucasians are the most beautiful and intelligent. -Hadila
