Significance: The significance of this song being sang by the girls helps add a bit more detail and suspicion because i makes the reader think if Daisy is thinking about going back to Gatsby or staying where she is in her marriage with Tom.
Influence on mood: This part of the story won't necessarily change the mood as much as add more hints to make the reader think a little bit about the scene. However it could add a bit of suspicion and mystery to the reader about what Daisy will do. Overall the song could also make you feel in love or make you have the feeling of love.
Rationale: A reason Fitzgerald put this song into the scene is to add tension to it.

Significance: This song talks about loving life and finding happiness in it whether you are rich or poor. It could also show how seeing Daisy again made Gatsby rich in feelings and emotions while Daisy is just the opposite.
Influence on mood: This could shift the reader's mood to being happy and excited for Gatsby because the love of his life has finally come back into his life after many years.
Rationale: Fitzgerald could have added this song into the story to give a message to the readers about how no matter what you have or do not have you can still have as much fun as the next guy.
