They both studied at St. Lawrence University and both worked with the National Security Agency (NSA) early in their careers. Afterward, Greg and Elaine Fedchak pursued different paths, with the former becoming an author and artist and the latter a data analyst.

Greg has authored five books: The Broccoli Eaters, Bad Apple Jack, Love Among the Tomatoes, The Monk’s Love Potion, and The Magical Fruit. In addition to writing, he is an artist, painting abstract art. Some of his paintings have won awards.

Elaine has had a storied career as a data analyst since her early days with the NSA. Over the course of 40 years, she has worked at IIT Research Institute, Exelis, and then SRC Inc., where she currently serves as a cybersecurity information assurance specialist.

The couple loves to garden and are avid growers of African violets. They also support the Frederic Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, New York. Elaine enjoys spinning and knitting wool and is a member of a local spinning guild.
