This is Tally Craven from "Motherland Fort Salem" she embodies bravery and loyalty. Everyone except for her mother had died because of war. Since her lineage is almost dead she was exempt from the draft, but she chose to go into the military anyways. She betters her team by keeping them together and being the mediator. She is very empathetic and will not stop if it's something she has her mind set on. "A man is relieved and gay when he has put his heart into his work and done his best."

How did Chris McCandless embody these principles?

Chris was a believer in transcendent destiny, who found joy in surviving off the land, pushing himself to the limit, and enjoying where destiny chose to take him. He left his family behind and chose to go all alone into the world. Ralph Waldo Emerson states that "We are now men and must accept in the highest mind the same transcendent destiny; and not pinched in a corner, not cowards fleeing before a revolution, but redeemers and benefactors." Emerson happens to be one of Chris's idols, so I believed he took this specific line to heart and chose not to follow the traditional way people go about life, and live outside of the box.
