The US did however send supplies using the lend lease act, which let them send supplies to countries in need that were fighting in the war. After Japan bombed pearl harbor, the peoples minds changed and wanted to go to war. The US then declared war and joined the allied powers. I also learned that BLITZKRIEG means lightning war.
