Robin Hood - Robin Hood is a legendary heroic outlaw and has many different iterations, books and movies made about it. Robin was always depicted as being a highly skilled archer and swordsman. He is often pictured wearing roughly the same dark green outfit. Through various interpretations and changes, many different characters have been added, this includes his lover, Maid Marian, his group of friends and band outlaws, the merry men, and his rival, The Chief Of Nottingham. The Chief is often depicted as being in aid of Prince John. The theme of Robin Hood is as follows, Robin is a champion of the common people and rises up against injustice.

The way that I will give a twist on this very known fairy tale is that Robin Hood will be set in the 21st century but instead will be living a life of crime by stealing money from the public. Before this, there are a few flashbacks of Robin having a happy life with his lover, Marian. Robin had turned to a life of crime after he could not afford to live anymore. One day whilst going out to his local park, he spots a homeless woman that he seems to remember. Robin decides that he will give money and food to this woman everyday if he see’s her. After a while, Marian recognises him and come to the conclusion that they both used to be in a relationship. Robin pleads to her that he will stop his life of crime to go back with her, she gives him one more chance to be with her.

Instead of meeting Marian as a homeless woman and living a life of crime. Robin is already with Marian and he has a low-level job, in this version, Robin realises the faults with the police system by living in a more poor area. He realises that the black minorities around his area are getting very mis-treated by the local police force. Robin decides to form a small gang of friends, which are called the Merry Men. Robin and his team hold many protests and rallies against the local police force. Unfortunately for Robin, this is not enough and he must fight them directly himself by attempting to be-friend a local police officer. This works for Robin and eventually the problems with the police force is solved, Justice Served.
