Poetry is healing, meaningful, thought-provoking, cathartic, but sometimes filled with sorrow, though getting the words down on paper, releases my secrets,  they are safe on the page
and remind me that; although, 
life is sometimes askew
I will get the chance to begin anew.

from day to night

you can describe what you see 
or even the people you meet
poetry is a treat
It just can't be beat
poetry doesn't have rules
you don't even have to rhyme,
but no one ever said rhyming was a crime
