Dual language programs. DLE in one high school, 5 middle schools, in 1 elementary schools. Meant to help them learn English same level as native students. BLE had one class teach English one teach Spanish or in same class. Study with teachers. CA has English and Chinese classes and eng/japanese classes.

They sometimes taught the class in English and sometimes in Spanish. Half the class was English speaking and half the class was Spanish speaking.

BLE classes had a class of mainly the second speakers and taught them in English, DLE classes have some students that speak the languages and some that speak English and teach in English sometimes and the other language sometimes.
