I assisted the staff members with installing the office carpets and rearranging the spa items.

I continued designing the new staff uniform using Canva and Pinterest.

It took four days to complete the layout, as we were required to design the layout for various areas, including the spa house, salon, reception area, waiting area, herbal area, pantry, prayer space, restroom, and office.

A staff member and I focused on the layout of the reception area and waiting area.

We had to illustrate the arrangement of furniture, equipment, and wall decorations.

We also need to identify the number and placement of electrical plugs and switches in each area.

Although it was not directly related to the theory I had learned, I was able to refer to the assignments from the Enterprise Management subject completed during Semester 4 as a reference to guide me in this task.

I helped install candles and added aromatherapy oil to the burners.

We were required to design the layout of prayer space, restroom, and office.

I reviewed these designs on Pinterest and TikTok videos to gain ideas.

Throughout the day, I ensured that each layout supported the spa's operational needs and created a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

A staff member and I decided to focus on the next stage of the paperwork, which was planning the wall decorations for each area within the spa.

Today, we focused to creating paperwork for a traditional food menu that highlights Kelantan dishes and traditional herbal drinks.

The spa's goal for next year is to introduce Kelantan's culture through its food and beverages.

Although this task was not directly related to the wellness course, I did my best to contribute my ideas to this project.

I helped a staff member clean the candlelight and Himalayan salt lamps.

We continued producing ideas for Malay traditional names for the treatments and spa packages.

We needed to finalize the names to ensure they were clear, appropriate, and follow with Puan Azuraini's requests.

The first draft of the paperwork was printed and was ready to be presented to Puan Azuraini.

Today, I began the second draft of the paperwork.

I actively researched and compiled a variety of traditional house design examples.

As per Puan Azuraini's request, I prepared multiple design concepts to ensure she could select the one that reflected the spa's theme.

However, I faced an issue in this process, which was ensuring the designs met Puan Azuraini's expectations, as she had a very specific vision for the spa.

Therefore, I maintained open communication with Puan Azuraini to gather feedback before finalizing the designs.

It took two days to create a clear vision with explanations of how each element reflected the spa's theme.

From this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of traditional Malay architecture, especially the symbolic meanings behind its structure and materials.

I started practicing hand massage with a staff members to improve my hand positioning and techniques directly on her hands.

Today, I began practicing foot massage with one of the staff members at Baheera Bali Spa.

Today, I practiced face and head massage under the guidance of a staff member at Baheera Bali Spa.

Today, I focused on working with the paperwork by proposing names for the spa.

I was tasked with creating a new bottle design for Baheera's product which is herbal juice.

On this day, I focused on designing new packaging for herbal juice and gold coffee using Canva.

This task was related to the Innovation Product subject, which I had studied during Semester 6.

I was assigned the task of designing a new sachet box for Baheera's Gold Coffee product.

I had to create several design elements, including the color scheme, font selection, logo placement, and graphic motifs.

This experience helped me think more creatively and gain a deeper understanding of the product and its branding.

I continued working on ideas for designing new packaging for these products.

However, I faced an issue during this process as I had limited inspiration and needed to come up with fresh and attractive designs.

I was assigned to read a book about the fundamentals of beauty and spa.

Today, I started practicing hand massage techniques together with one of the staff members.

I practiced foot massage techniques with a staff member to strengthen my foundation in therapeutic massage practices.

I practiced face and head massage techniques to improve my hand movements.

Today, I had the valuable opportunity to learn and assist in preparing a body scrub alongside the staff.

The first draft of a new logo and packaging was printed and ready to be presented to Puan Azuraini.

I continued improving the design of the new bottle and packaging box for Baheera's products.

However, I faced an issue during this process as I had to design packaging that would attract customers.

Puan Azuraini has assigned me the task on proposing a new and meaningful name for the spa.

I have been assigned the responsibility of sourcing inspiration for the layout of a traditional house.

This task requires me to explore various design elements that represent the architectural values of traditional Malay house.

I had opportunity to practice preparing a traditional foot scrub alongside the staff.

Today, I focused on learning the products used in traditional spa treatments.

Baheera Bali Spa had made several preparations to temporarily reopen its business.

I assisted staff in organizing and storing spa products such as herbal oils, creams and lotions in storage area.

I helped in checking product expiry dates and ensured that expired items were set aside for proper disposal.

Today, I focused on developing a design idea for door curtains using traditional batik fabric as the main element.

I proposed some additional natural elements such as wooden or baboo to create aesthetic environment.

From today's activity, I learned that traditional textiles such as batik were not only used for decoration, but also carried cultural heritage that helped create a welcoming atmosphere.

I assisted in ensuring that all spa facilities were clean, organized and ready for use.

I focused on the interior design of the spa.

Today, I assisted in reviewing the interior design and equipment arrangement.

Today, I learned how to use a facial steamer correctly.

The staff asked me to write a revision notes on manicure, facial relaxing, body massage, foot massage, and hair wash.

Today, I began practicing a manicure techniques alongside a staff member.

During the practical session, I learned how to shaping nails, pushing back cuticles, and exfoliate hand skin.

This hands-on experience was closely related to the theoretical knowledge I learned in the Beauty Treatments subjects taught by Dr. Hafizah.

I continued practicing manicure techniques with one of staff member.

I faced several challenges during manicure practice such as maintaining consistent shape nails on both hands, managing cuticle care carefully, and applying nail polish neatly.

However, it was a valuable opportunity to improve my hand skills and strengthen the techniques taught in the Beauty Treatments subject.

I had taken leave in order to attend the Dean's Award Ceremony held at UMK.

I has been listed in the Dean's Lists for both the February and September semesters session 2023/2024.

I began practicing a pedicure techniques under the guidance of the staff members at the spa.

I was introduced to the complete pedicure process.

I learned that the treatment begins with soaking the client's feet, trimming and shaping the toenails, pushing back cuticles and foot exfoliation.

Overall, I am grateful for the guidance provided by the staff, which help me to improve my technique.

I focused on learning the pressure points and proper movements to ensure the massage promotes relaxation and helps reduce stress.

By practicing these techniques, I was able to understand and become more confident in delivering treatments to customers.

One of the challenges I faced was memorizing the functions of each reflex zone accurately.

I had the opportunity to practice hand massage techniques under the guidance of staff members at the spa.

Through this hands-on learning session allowed me to apply correct methods used in this massage technique.

I was able to improve my hand skills and deepen my understanding of the structure of the hand.

I practiced a traditional foot scrub treatment with the staff.

I learned how to apply the correct techniques to exfoliate dead skin cells, and improve blood circulation.

Additionally, I gained knowledge about the benefits of natural ingredients used in the treatment.

As part of my practical training at spa, I practiced traditional hand scrub treatments with the staff.

I truly enjoyed the process, especially how the scrub improved the skin's texture.

It motivated me to continue learning and refining my hand skills.

Today, I practiced face and head massage techniques.

I could learned how to locate the key pressure points that help relieve tension and improve blood circulation.

As a result, I was able to perform the correct movements to deliver effective face and head massage treatments.

Through this hands-on learning session, I was able to improve my techniques for correctly shaping nails and gently handling the cuticles.

I also practiced nail polish for smoother results.

Today, I continued assisting with the decoration of the new spa premises.

As part of the task assigned to me, I accompanied one of staff members to a hardware shop to purchase construction adhesive sealant.

After returning to the spa, I was responsible for attaching the door curtains and arranging the artificial flowers by using the adhesive.

The design was based on my own idea, and I felt proud to see it as part of the overall interior theme.

I continued attaching the artificial flowers along the side area near the door and the toilet entrance.

I selected floral elements and carefully positioned them to create a welcoming atmosphere.

I assisted the staff members in lifting and arranging the display racks within the spa.

This task required physical effort to ensure each rack was positioned accurately according to the layout plan.

I also organized the spa products neatly on the shelves to ensure the display appeared tidy and attractive.

I was given the responsibility of developing a new spa package that will be introduced when the spa officially opens.

To make sure the package is well-structured, I referred to the records of previously offered spa packages.

I also held discussions with staff members to gather input, suggestions, and feedback to enhance the quality of the package.

I continued attaching the artificial flowers along the side area of the toilet entrance.

The idea to decorate the toilet area with artificial flowers was originally mine, and I felt truly proud to see it successfully brought to life.

Today, I assisted a staff member in cleaning the dirty mini waterfall pond, which serves as one of the decorative features at the spa.

The cleaning process involved removing leaves and dirt, as well as scrubbing the surfaces.

I also proposed attaching artificial flowers to the display racks to make the spa look more beautiful.

As part of the task assigned to me, I continued with the wall decoration.

I was responsible for attaching the artificial flowers and traditional Malay elements such as rattan and bamboo.

This task allowed me to use my creativity and helped me appreciate the beauty of traditional Malay decoration.

I continued decorating the main door entrance of the spa as part of the ongoing spa preparation.

After completing the task, Puan Azuraini viewed the final result and expressed her satisfaction with the decoration.

She praised the effort and creativity, saying the design matched the traditional Malay concept.

Her positive feedback motivated me to keep going giving my best to the project.

Today, I decorated the wall by adding leaf elements to create a more natural environment.

I arranged the leaves on the wall, ensuring that each pieces was placed neatly.

This task allowed me to enhance my attention to detail in interior decoration for the spa.

I continued attaching the leaf decorations on the wall.

After completing the decoration, the staff members praised my effort, said that it matched the spa's concept well.

As part of the final stage of the decoration process, I carefully added the finishing touches, making sure that each elements was perfectly placed to complete the overall look and bring out the traditional concept of the spa.

Today, a special celebration was held of the completion of my internship at Baheera Bali Spa & Salon.
